Focus Entertainment Partners With Maverick Games for Open-World Racing IP CLUTCH

Publisher Focus Entertainment has officially partnered with Maverick Games to publish CLUTCH, an upcoming open-world action-racing title.

Developed by a team led by former Forza Horizon creative director Mike Brown, CLUTCH puts players into the dual life of a motorsport outsider. By day, drivers compete in high-level professional circuits, while by night, they navigate a dangerous underground racing scene focused on reputation, pursuit, and high-speed getaways.

The campaign features a character-driven story penned by Jamie Brittain, co-creator of the television drama Skins. Along with cinematic storytelling, the title emphasizes deep vehicle customization, allowing drivers to alter car visuals and performance to shape their personal progression.

Scheduled for release in Spring 2027, CLUTCH will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
