Publisher Fellow Traveller and developer Jump Over the Age have officially announced Signet City, a first-person fungalpunk role-playing game coming to PC. Crafted by the creator of the Citizen Sleeper series, the upcoming narrative title will be distributed digitally via Steam, GOG, and the Humble Store. A specific release date has not yet been announced.

Signet City‘s gameplay centers on an unusual perspective where the player embodies a literal parasite. Set within a metropolis experiencing its final terminal season, players must grow into and through the local inhabitants. By going directly behind the eyes of various hosts, you are tasked with uncovering their personal backgrounds and fundamentally changing their fates one crucial day at a time.
The city of Signet itself faces a massive societal crisis. Its citizens are caught in a destructive vortex of ecological collapse, rising waters, expanding governmental overreach, and rampant, unusual technologies. The stylistic design of the environment is framed as a post-punk fever dream, pulling creative inspiration from the turbulent 1980s era of the United Kingdom and the distinct industrial hubs of the North. Handcrafted by Jump Over the Age, the game features a monochrome aesthetic that utilizes textures from pen and ink drawings, screentoned manga art styles, and black-and-white documentary photography.
