Publisher Fellow Traveller and independent developer Jump Over the Age have announced that the critically acclaimed narrative RPGs Citizen Sleeper and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, bundled in the Helion Collection, will both launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on June 25. In a player-friendly move, the companies confirmed that anyone who already owns the titles on the original Nintendo Switch will be eligible for a completely free upgrade to the new enhanced editions.

The franchise’s debut title originally launched in May 2022 across Xbox, Switch, and PC, followed by a PlayStation release in 2023. Its highly anticipated sequel, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, followed with a multiplatform launch on January 31, 2025. This upcoming dual release marks the franchise’s first jump into Nintendo’s latest generation of portable hardware, allowing players to experience both chapters back-to-back on upgraded systems.
The Switch 2 hardware allows both sci-fi adventures to receive massive technical overhauls. Both games will now target a native 4K (2160p) resolution when docked in TV mode, while running at full High Definition (1080p) in tabletop and handheld configurations. Additionally, the frame rates have been bumped to a smooth, locked 60 frames per second across all play modes.
For newcomers, the series offers a deep, tabletop-inspired, dice-driven gameplay loop set within a gritty, cyberpunk universe. The first game casts you as a synthetic worker trying to survive on a lawless space station called Erlin’s Eye, while the sequel expands the scope, putting you in control of a different Sleeper who commands a scrap-metal ship and a desperate crew on the run through the treacherous Starward Belt.
