Developer Unclear Games has shared a fresh look at The Florist, its upcoming survival horror title, through the world premiere of the “Gardens of Death” gameplay trailer. Alongside the new footage, the studio officially confirmed that the game is coming to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, with final release information scheduled to drop later in 2026.

The story follows Jessica Park, who arrives in the quiet lakeside town of Joycliffe to make a routine, last-minute delivery. Your timing sparks an absolute disaster as the entire settlement quickly descends into a deadly fight for survival against an omnipresent floral overgrowth. To make it out alive, you will have to solve ingenious puzzles, fight off terrifying creatures, and uncover a mysterious plan to engineer new life in the most inhuman way imaginable.
The new trailer offers a glimpse into several secrets hidden deep within the overgrowth, showing off close-quarters combat against tragic victims known as Seeds. These are former townspeople controlled by a deadly floral affliction, driven purely by an organic instinct to attack you and draw nutrients from living organisms.
You can escape their clutches or blast your way through them using heavy firearms like the Catclaw Revolver or the Rosetta Shotgun. However, standard guns will only get you so far against the evolved threats waiting in the shadows. The footage drops subtle hints about unique, specialized weapons you will unlock later to cause rapid destruction against the deadliest plants in the town.
The Florist is set to launch on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam this year.
