Swan Song launches on June 4, 2026 on PC via Steam, with its release date revealed during the Galaxies Showcase alongside a new trailer highlighting its music-based puzzle structure and emotional narrative.

Set within a handcrafted music box, Swan Song follows a small swan guided through a series of environments shaped by melody and memory. The concept centers on composing sequences of notes that activate the world itself, gradually uncovering fragments of a family story rooted in loss and reflection. Inspired by real events, the narrative unfolds quietly through interaction rather than direct exposition.
Its gameplay revolves around placing notes on a musical scale, where each composition triggers movement within the environment, opening paths and guiding the swan toward safety. This system ties progression directly to sound, blending puzzle-solving with a rhythmic flow that reinforces the tone of the experience. Visuals lean into a warm, low-poly style, supported by a soundtrack composed by Jamal Green that anchors both gameplay and atmosphere.
Developed by Business Goose Studios, the project follows the Belgian studio’s earlier work on Sizeable, shifting toward a more introspective direction. While structurally a puzzle game, the focus remains on pacing and emotional resonance, with each solved sequence revealing more of the story behind the music box and the family it represents.
