Winter Expansion Cult of the Lamb: Woolhaven Brings a Frozen New Chapter in January

The winter expansion Cult of the Lamb: Woolhaven will launch on January 22, 2026 for PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, expanding the cult management roguelike with a substantial new region, systems, and storyline that continues beyond the original ending.

Following an ominous summons from a forgotten god, Cult of the Lamb: Woolhaven sends players beyond familiar lands and across a treacherous mountain range to Woolhaven, the ancestral home of the Lambs. This snowbound realm is ruled by Yngya, the God of Winter, whose spreading frost reshapes both combat encounters and cult management. Survival becomes harsher as cold weather affects food, water, and shelter, demanding more careful leadership to keep the flock alive and devoted.

The expansion introduces an array of new content woven directly into progression. Players can explore fresh dungeons, wield new weapons, and construct additional buildings while meeting new characters and undertaking quests tied to Woolhaven’s forgotten past. A major addition comes in the form of ranching, allowing followers to tame and ride animals, integrate them into cult life, or use them as a last resort when resources grow scarce.
