Ahead of the release of Lost Soul Aside, set to launch on August 29 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Ultizero Games have detailed the game’s PlayStation 5 Pro enhancements, exclusive PC features, and shared a new nine-minute “A Hero’s Journey” developer diary featuring creator Yang Bing.

Originally conceived as a solo project, the action RPG has evolved into a full-scale production with the backing of PlayStation’s China Hero Project and the support of its community. In the developer diary, Yang Bing and the Ultizero Games team reflect on the passion, challenges, and creative breakthroughs that shaped the project’s combat, boss encounters, and world design.
On PlayStation 5 Pro, players can expect dynamic 4K resolution with enhanced ray-traced reflections, shadows, and global illumination, alongside improved textures, particle effects, and faster loading thanks to the upgraded hardware. The system also delivers a higher and more stable frame rate, ensuring smoother combat and responsiveness throughout.
The PC version includes a suite of platform-specific features, such as full DualSense controller support via USB-C or Bluetooth, complete with adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. The game supports native 4K resolution with HDR, multi-monitor setups, and ray tracing for reflections, shadows, and global illumination—all optimized through DLSS 4, FSR, and Frame Generation to maintain smooth performance. Additionally, players can link their PlayStation Network account, allowing trophies and achievements to sync seamlessly across platforms.
Ultizero Games also revealed the PC system requirements, with support scaling from GTX 1060-level hardware up to the latest RTX 5070 Ti setups for ultra-level ray tracing. Storage demands remain steady at 80 GB across all tiers.
With its release just days away, Lost Soul Aside is positioned as one of the most ambitious action RPGs to emerge from the China Hero Project, blending high-speed combat with cinematic visuals and robust technical features across both console and PC.
