DaRmaZat Publisher Panic and developer Okomotive have announced that Herdling, their upcoming adventure game, will launch for Switch 2 on August 21, joining the previously confirmed PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) platforms.
From the creators of the acclaimed FAR series, Herdling is a wordless adventure set in a beautifully decayed alpine world. Players guide and protect a herd of mysterious, horned creatures known as Calicorns, as they make their way up a treacherous mountain path.
Along the way, players will traverse sweeping landscapes—misty forests, snowy ridges, and hidden valleys—while solving gentle environmental puzzles and evading looming dangers. With no spoken dialogue, the story unfolds through expressive animation and a strong sense of atmosphere, exploring themes of trust, survival, and quiet companionship.
Herdling promises a deeply emotional experience, combining exploration, herding mechanics, and cinematic stampede sequences in a setting shaped as much by nature as by mystery.
